Welcome to Hope Foundation New Initiatives
New initiatives include:
> Transport: for those living in out lying areas that want to attend the church services and would otherwise be unable to do so.
> Fresh Bread: from December 08 fresh daily bread has been kindly donated to us by a local bakery The Sponge Kitchen. On four days each week the fresh bread that has not been sold that day is collected by The Hope Foundation. We distribute this bread to the clients who are receiving food and also to the many other organisations that we are in connection with such as hostels, refuges, Youth Offenders Teams etc.
> School Uniforms: In partnership with The Bromley Children Project we aim to provide good quality school uniforms to families in need who often struggle with affording to purchase these expensive but essential items. This we are sure will help children to integrate with the life of the school helping them to feel accepted and valued.
> Carpets: This is a brand-new incentive were we intend to provide this essential commodity for low-income families who cannot obtain floor covering via the social fund. This will help to alleviate the problem that often occurs with children crawling on cold floors and in continual contact with potentially dirty and abrasive surfaces.
