Christmas can be for some people a most difficult time of year.Our aim is to make Christmas a lot happier and easier for those facing a difficult time for whatever reason. We want to make a real difference in helping the neediest people in our community.
What we offer In our Christmas Give-Away we deliver ‘Hope Christmas Hampers’ which include a full range of seasonal treats, a toiletry gift and a voucher to enable each client to purchase a chicken or a turkey. The Hampers are specially packed by our own volunteers. For families we include in the ‘Give-Away’ a whole range of gift wrapped, brand new toys appropriate to the individual child’s age and sex.
Who is eligible for the Give-Away? All the clients who are currently on our delivery list over the Christmas period are included. We also ask all the organisations to which The Hope Foundation gives support to nominate new clients who genuinely need help at this time of year.
Charge for services? All the services we provide are FREE and funded primarily from the generosity of those who attend BCC!
